yes, we have indeed prevailed through the murk of february! now comes the rains, and the mud.
so julius and i escaped today. we went indoors to the wonderful world of the tropics, of the deserts, of places wet & dry, but most importantly, reasonably warm.
i wished you could have been there!
there were moments that were idyllic (looking at the cinnamon tree together in blissful peace),
and moments less so (noteworthy: the picture of julius facedown on the bench).
we brought our magnifying glass.
